I don’t drink coffee (can’t stand the taste, so my caffeine intake consists mostly of energy drinks and coke), but one person I know takes a glass when she goes to a Starbucks or similar precisely for this reason. AFAIK, according to her, drinking it from a glass makes it taste better too.
